Manufacturing partners

Put your spare capacity to work.

Partspark sends priced, production-ready sheet metal, CNC and finishing jobs to Australian workshops. You agree a rate card once, accept the jobs you want, make the parts and invoice us.

It costs nothing to be a Partspark partner. Ever.

  • No joining fee
  • No subscription
  • No setup fee
  • No per-job commission

You invoice us at the rate we agree, and that is what you are paid.

You are never obligated to accept work.

We will never saddle you with a job that is too difficult or one you do not think is worth the go. Every single job is accepted individually. You are given the drawing or CAD data and the price, and all you do is click yes or no.

How it works

  1. Tell us about your workshop

Send the form below with your processes, equipment and the capacity you could offer. It takes about ten minutes.

  2. We talk, then agree rates

A call or a visit to see the shop, then we agree a rate card for each process and material you run. No bidding on individual jobs.

  3. Jobs arrive ready to make

Orders that match your capabilities appear in your Partspark workshop view with drawings, cut files, bend sheets and quantities. Accept the ones you have room for.

  4. Make, mark off, ship

Make the parts to the drawing, update the job stage as you go so the customer can follow along, and dispatch.

  5. Get paid

Invoice Partspark at the agreed rate. You never chase the end customer for payment.

Milling and turning of machined parts and secondary ops on cut parts

  • CNC routing

    Plastics, timber and composite sheet

Why workshops partner with us

No quoting

We price the part before it reaches you, from the rates we agreed. You decide whether to take the job, not whether to spend an hour on an RFQ.

Production-ready files

Every job arrives with a dimensioned drawing, a DXF, a bend sheet and a nest on your sheet size. You are not redrawing anything.

Fill the gaps in your week

Take jobs when you have capacity and decline when you do not. There is no minimum volume and no penalty for saying no.

Keep your own customers

Partspark work sits alongside your existing business. We never approach your customers, and you can keep your name off the parts.

One place for the work

Jobs, stages, drawings and your machines live in one workshop view, on the desktop or the phone on the floor.

A team you can ring

We are engineers in Brisbane, not a ticket queue. If a drawing is wrong or a sheet is short, you talk to a person who can fix it.

What we ask of partners

  • An Australian workshop with an ABN and public liability insurance.
  • Parts made to the drawing, to the tolerances on it, every time.
  • Honest capacity. Tell us what you can take on and when it will be done.
  • Agreed lead times, and an early heads-up when one is going to slip.
  • Quality certification such as ISO 9001 helps but is not required to start.

Questions workshops ask

Does it cost anything to join?

No, and it never will. There is no joining fee, no subscription, no setup fee and no per-job commission. You invoice us at the rate we agree, and that is what you are paid.

How are rates set?

Together, per process and per material, before any job is sent. Our pricing engine uses your rate card to cost each part, so what the customer pays and what you invoice come from the same numbers. Rates can be revisited whenever your costs change.

Do I have to accept every job?

No. Jobs that match your capabilities are offered to you, and you accept the ones you have capacity for. We do ask that you decline quickly so we can route the work elsewhere.

Who ships the parts?

That depends on the arrangement we agree. Most partners pack and ship direct to the customer on a label we provide; some send finished parts to us for inspection and consolidation.

Can one order be split between workshops?

Yes. An order with laser-cut brackets and a machined housing goes to a sheet metal shop and a machine shop separately. You only see the lines that are yours.

What if I only do one thing?

That is fine. A shop that only laser cuts, or only powder coats, is just as useful to the network as one that does everything.

What about my pricing being visible?

Your rates are confidential. Customers see one Partspark price and never see which workshop made the part or what it cost us. Other partners never see your rates either.

Ready to put your capacity to work?

No fees, no minimums, no quoting. The form at the top takes about ten minutes.
