Aluminium

Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and versatile. Perfect for applications requiring strength without the weight.

Why Choose Aluminium?

Aluminium is one of the most popular materials for sheet metal fabrication, and for good reason. Its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio makes it ideal for applications where weight reduction is critical.

From aerospace components to architectural cladding, aluminium's natural corrosion resistance and excellent machinability make it a top choice across industries.

Key Benefits

  • 1/3 the weight of steel
  • Excellent corrosion resistance
  • Easy to machine and form
  • Non-magnetic properties
  • Good thermal & electrical conductivity
  • 100% recyclable

Available Grades

5052 Aluminium

The most commonly used grade for sheet metal work. Excellent formability and corrosion resistance, particularly in marine environments.

Tensile Strength:228 MPa
Yield Strength:193 MPa
Typical Applications:Marine, General Fabrication

6061 Aluminium

A structural grade with excellent mechanical properties. More difficult to form but offers superior strength. Popular in aerospace and automotive applications.

Tensile Strength:310 MPa (T6)
Yield Strength:276 MPa (T6)
Typical Applications:Aerospace, Structural
