Aussie Lifts in Brisbane fits its installed lifts with custom stainless steel nameplates. We built a web portal so they can order nameplates in bulk through Partspark from a Google Sheet.
The challenge
Aussie Lifts needed a simple way to order custom elevator nameplates for installations across Brisbane. Each nameplate has to meet building compliance requirements while matching the finish of the lift it is fitted to, and ordering them one at a time by email was slow and easy to get wrong.
The solution
We built a small web portal connected to a Google Sheet. Aussie Lifts enters the nameplate details for each lift in the sheet, and the portal turns each row into a ready-to-manufacture stainless steel part and submits the batch to Partspark as a single order.
The outcome
Nameplates for multiple sites can now be ordered in one go, with the specification captured once in the sheet rather than re-typed for every order, and production status visible through the Partspark order history.
